Nerds Rule!

Hope you all survived your Labor Day celebrations and are having a great week.
A while back I was asked by my favorite stalker, Rene of Simply Cute to be a Guest Designer for Creative Inspirations Challenge for the month of September.  Since she does such a fantastic job of stalking I just couldn't say no.  LOL

The first challenge for September is "Back to School".  I just love this sweet little nerd "Harvard" from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I am crazy about stencils and embossing paste so I was excited when I got the idea to use this great Tim Holtz stencil and add a bit of ruler to the card.  I think you can see it better in the second photo below.

Copics Used:
skin E000, E00, E11, E13
hair E21, E23, E25, E29

I hope you'll pop over to the Creative Inspirations blog and join in this fun challenge.  Classy Crafts is the sponsor for this week.

  1. This is so adorable, Tracy, and I totally agree...nerds rule! LOVE your layering here, and as always, your coloring, too. And how fun the modeling paste ruler is...I really thought that was patterned paper until the close up shot. That is fabulous!
