Bee happy

Our bee keeper friend has already brought his baby hives down for the season so we have tons of little honey bees buzzing around here.  Thought I'd capture one and put him on a card for you.  hee hee  Actually this little bee is one of the images in Stephanie Ackerman's Love Bugs collection from Purple Onion Designs.
I created the background with Distress inks and a TCW chicken wire stencil and then cut it out.  To add some interest I did a bit of doodling around the edge of the cut out panel with a white gel pen.

Copics Used:
bee Y19, N7, R20, R22, BG000
heart R46

Hoping you truly are having a happy day!

Supplies:
Paper--Recollections, Copic XPress-it Blending card
Stamps--Purple Onion Designs "Love Bugs" and "Love Bug Sentiments" from the Stephanie Ackerman Designs collection
Ink--Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress inks, Sakura white gel pen, Copic Multi-liner pens
Tools--The Crafters Workshop Mini Chicken Wire stencil, Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles
Miscellaneous--Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen, Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder

Oh, my goodness, love, you've been a busy bee! No pun intended, but I've sure gotten behind over here again. This is darling! LOVE that bit of solid black edging, too! It brings the eye right to your sweet, little showcase.

Wow, this is clever, Tracy! And it reminds me of the song "Be Happy" from years ago! So fun! Hugs!
