It's a boy

     Sharing one of the non-Christmas makes I have from Art Impressions newest release.  This card uses the Baby Boy Set.

     I used a stencil and some Distress ink to make the stripes.  I stamped out the "boy" word and colored it with the same Distress ink.  Doesn't look like it does it.  LOL  I covered it with Sparkle pen and it changed the color.  The mat layer is a dark blue although it looks black in the photo.

Thanks a mushroom

     I bought this Reverse Confetti tag die during Black Friday sales and couldn't wait to use it.  I've stamped this gorgeous mushroom from Purple Onion Designs onto some watercolor paper and used my Distress inks to color it.  I first tried using my Derwent watercolor pencils, but I just couldn't get the richness of color you get with the Distress inks.  I used my Krylon gold leafing pen to go around the edge of the tag.  I also added a drop shadow to the sentiment with some gray ink.

     Can't believe 2019 is almost here.  Wonder what this year will hold.

Pigs CAN fly

     Have you ever seen a pig fly?  Well this one can.  He's one of Art Impressions new Flutter sets.  See that pull tab at the bottom with the arrow, when you pull it, little piggies wings flap up and down.  It's so much fun to play with.

     I created a sky for him to fly in using a Nuvo Blender Brush and some Tumbled Glass Distress ink.  The clouds are double layered die cuts.  I used some Prismacolor pencils over my Copic coloring which dulled piggies outline.  Would like to have re-stamped over it but I used the pencils after die cutting him.

Vintage Roses

     I just had to have this stamp set from Altenew and then I was too chicken to break it out.  LOL  It's their Vintage Roses layering stamp set.  I used their Red Cosmos ink cube set for the flowers and some Memento greens for the leaves and sentiment.  Sorry for the bad close up photo.  This card was very hard to photograph.

     Can't wait for my Mini Misti to get here and help me line the layers up.  This card has already traveled through the mail to a dear friend for her birthday.

A flower for Mrs. Billie

     Hello Stamping Bella fans!  It's Bellarific Friday and I have a card to share with you today using the lovely Flower for a Friend stamp set.  I used my pencils for this one and the sketch for the last challenge.

     I still need a LOT of practice with my pencils.
