When I first started making cards I didn't really understand sketches and how helpful they are. Now I LOVE them. Our challenge this week at Papercraft Star is to find your own sketch to use. This one is from Bev Rochester for the now defunct Friday Sketchers. I've used papers from a new K and Company 6 x 6 stack I bought recently. Adore the colors in these papers! The image is Sarah Kay and I've colored it with Copic markers.
The flowers are simple rolled roses. I used some deco scissors to cut out the spiral and colored the white paper with some of the Copics I used so they would match. The leaves were colored to match too.
This months Grand prize sponsor is The Paper Trail.
So get out there, find a sketch and show us what you come up with. Link it up by 9:00 p.m. EST on Sunday.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Try It on Tuesday--something older than six months (Sarah Kay Stamp) and newer than six months (K & Co. paper)
