A Krafty Santa

I'm so happy with how this card came out.  It was a total experiment for me.  I LOVE LOVE kraft paper and I wanted to get some kind of unique look with it.  I decided to cut my kraft paper into 1/2" strips, ink their edges and weave them together.  I then cut a section out for the front of my card and popped it on top of a card base and some of the last little bit of the Basic Grey Jovial paper pad I have left.
The image is one I found on the internet and the sentiment is computer generated.  I made the flowers out of the Basic Grey paper and added the leaves and pearl trim to the little bouquet.  I ruched some seam binding and topped it with a pretty piece of twisted trim.  I hope you like it as much as I do.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Kraft Journal--kraft cardstock
City Crafters--kraft cardstock
Craft Your Days Away--punches and die cuts

Thanks for stopping in!
