A win for you, a win for me, and a special Christmas present

Thank you so much to all of you who left such wonderful comments on my post for the Papercraft Star Christmas blog hop.  I sure hope you all enjoyed and got some inspiration from all the DT projects.  I had some yummy Tim Holtz goodies up for grabs so without further ado let's pick a winner with RANDOM.ORG from my followers who commented.

Melissa Bove

Congratulations Melissa!  Please contact me at macdonald.tracy96@gmail.com by December 31st to claim your prize.

A second thank you to any of you who took the time to pop over to the The Kraft Journal and vote for my Krafty Santa card.  It won!  YAY!  Look for me to share some of that krafty goodness very soon.
Lastly,  I'd like to share a little project that I made for one of our kids at church.  Our church has been running a bus ministry for a while now and we've been blessed with upwards of 50 kids from around the local neighborhoods to minister too.  One of those kids is a red-headed ten year old girl who has pretty much claimed me as her own.  LOL  I'm really not sure why, but she has latched on to me.  She sits with my husband and I at church and fellowship events, and basically is going to be wherever I am at church.  I made her the following little box and banner for Christmas.  Her favorite color is blue.  I didn't make it too girly cause she's a soccer and softball player and not really into all the girly fru fru.

The papers are My Mind's Eye.  I used Nestabilities and a Martha Stewart punch.  The clear bling was colored with a Copic marker to match.  The diamond dusted rose, done in the Tim Holtz grunge rose style, was cut out with one of my new Christmas toys, well actually two of them--a Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Sizzix die and my new Cuttlebug!!!  I can't believe I didn't have a Cuttlebug before now.  I love it!  It took that TH die with no problem and even did a fantastic job with my Nestie dies too!  My other Christmas biggie was another set of Copic markers.  They are so awesome--notice I said they cause they are but my coloring has a long way to go.  LOL
I'll have some exciting news to share with you tomorrow, but for now I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and I'm looking forward to an exciting New Year here in bloggie land with you.
Blessings!
