Hello There! and Guess what!!!!

I was having so much fun guest designing for A Day For Daisies this month!  It make's crafting so much more fun when you really like what you're working with.  I just love the whimsical way Tammy draws her little characters.  But got even better!  Tammy has asked me to join the ADFD DT permanently!!  I can't even describe how happy I am about this!!!  So now every Friday I'll get to share another one of her incredible images with you and hope I can do them justice.
That mini I promised you all another sneak peek at is done completely with her images and I'm so excited about how it's coming together.  I have all the pieces and parts of each page packed in individual bags ready to be put together when I can get the spare time.  Since it's for my daughter and I don't want her to see it. my time to work on it is severely handicapped.  LOL  I'll get you that second peek as soon as I can.  I actually got three pages put together yesterday.
Tammy wanted the DT to showcase their favorite ADFD images this week on the blog.  LOL  Impossible!  There's no way I could pick out a favorite.  However I had to choose one for my card and I picked out "Lady Bug Nymph".  You can visit Tammy's store here and etsy here to check out all her fabulous images.
I've been collecting sketches that I'd like to try in a file and this was one of them.  I had to do a bit of experimenting to cut my circle unevenly and probably should have made the top portion a little bit thicker.  I just used a regular needle and thread to sew the criss cross stitching.
You have another week to enter the challenge at the ADFD blog.  The challenge is to make a fancy fold card and Tammy has offered an adorable little freebie for you to use.
I'd like to enter my little nymph in the following challenges:

Art Impression Stamps Challenge--favorite technique (stitching on cards)
Delightful Challenges--things with wings
Moving Along with the Times--fantasy
Flutterby Wednesdays--open w/butterfly, angel or fairy
Paper Shelter--real or faux stitching
Cupcake Craft Challenges--stitching real or faux
Make It Colourful--color with pink

     Have a fabulous weekend!
