Anyone for Gingerbread!

"Banners or Border Punches" is the challenge this week at The Kraft Journal.  I decided to add another Christmas card to the stockpile so I printed out his cute little gingerbread man from The Stamping Boutique for my card.  The card base is Brown Kraft cardstock matted with some red Bazzill and Buff Ivory cardstock.  I only have a few whole pieces of Basic Grey Jovial paper left over from last year so I grabbed one for this card.  Mr. Gingerbread is matted on more Brown Kraft and Buff Ivory and his yummy self was printed out on some Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock.  I gave him some puff paint icing and buttons tied with Earthy Hemp Cord.  The banner was created with Jenni Bowlin chipboard flag pieces covered in Buff Ivory strung on Red Baker's Twine.  I hand lettered those pieces and the "Christmas" which I popped up on some foam tape.  Some scrunched up and machine sewn ribbon and a big red button with more Red Baker's Twine finish off the card..
We always have the most amazing entrants in our challenge.  If you've never played before we'd love to have you come join us.  Each time you play one of our challenges you go in the drawing for our monthly $15.00 Kraft Outlet store voucher plus you get a shot at a Top Three or Feature Me Friday spot.  Come join in the fun.  :-)
