Feed my flock

11-11-11!  You don't see that too often when you jot down a date.  :-)  November 11th falls on a Friday this year so that mean it's time for a new release from Tammy at A Day For Daisies.

The DT has got some wonderful examples using these images, so make sure you pop over to the blog and check them all out.  While you're there you can check out the brand new challenge that starts this week--flocking.
Now I have to be honest.  Flock is not one of my favorite mediums to work with.  I can never seem to get it to go where I want it plus if you use it on a detailed image, lots of times your detail lines get covered up.  I was determined to not let that happen with my little sheep and I'm pretty happy with how it came out.  I ended up going over the lines for the sheep with a .005 Micron pen and that really helped pop them back out so my sheep weren't just fuzzy blobs.  :-)  Here's a close up so you can get a better look at their little fluffy selfs.

I'm still playing with my distress inks so that's what this image was colored with.  By the way, it's called "My Three Babies".  I don't know how anyone could look at this card and not think "Mary Had a Little Lamb".  LOL
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Colour Create--turquoise, deep pink, ivory +optional glitter (my sky is turquoise and the flowers and circle mat are glittered)
Moving Along with the Times--fairy tale cards
Southern Girls--can you hear the music (inspired by a song)
My Mum's Craft Shop--sugar and spice
Truly Scrumptious--BINGO (lace, flowers, ribbon)
Anything Goes Challenge--stitches, real or faux
Digital Tuesday--anything goes
Karen's Doodles Netherlands--inspired by a song (Mary Had A little Lamb)
Crafty Boots--young at heart
Incy Wincy--stitching
Ooh La La Challenge--stitching, faux or real
CES Challenges--entertain us, song or film (Mary Had A Little Lamb)

Hope you'll play along with the challenge this week.  Don't forget Tammy offers a freebie so everyone can play and if you win, you get to go shopping in an absolutely amazing digital stamp store.  :-)
     Happy Veterans Day!

So, pretty, Tracy! The flocking of 'your flock' is a sweet touch and something I've never tried. I love your soft colors on these images, once again. The 'fairy' card was precious, also. (and the pumpkins!!...). I really like your coloring with the distress inks and was wondering if you have that technique on one of your many videos. I'm going to check that out as soon as I leave here. Hope you have a good week! Thanks for sharing your talent, once again!
