99 red balloons go by....minus 98

Okay, how many of you who grew up in the eighties knew what my post title was talking about.  LOL  I think that song is even recognizable by those who came a bit later.  It's one of those that sticks in your head.  I had to do a little googling (got to keep my Jeopardy skills updated LOL) about the song because I knew the original German title was 99 Luftballoons and I didn't think that translated to 99 Red Balloons.  Nope, it sure doesn't.  Luft means air and apparently when the song was translated to English they needed a word in there to make the lyrics flow so they added red in place of air, which honestly would have sounded kind of silly.  :-)  Mini music trivia lesson for you there.  No charge.  LOL
I hadn't planned on posting anything today, but I finished this card and decided to go ahead and post it.  The image is called "One Balloon" and is one of the images in the March Club Kit from A Day For Daisies.  I colored the little guy with Copics and then started embellishing the card.  I thought that cool denim DP went so well with him and I went for bright primary colors.
Hope you're having a great Saturday.  It's still a bit overcast here so I'm not as energetic as I should be.  :-)
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Delicious Doodles--inspired by a song (99 Red Balloons)
The Poodles Parlour--birthday
Aud Sentiments--include the sentiment "Happy Birthday"
Creative Craft Challenge--boys will be boys
Top Tip Tuesday--stitching/real or faux

     Be blessed!
