Eggshell art?

It's a sad thing to admit that you're afraid of a color, but tell me to make something with white and my brain starts to spasm.  The current challenge at the Catered Crop is to use white.  Oh how I struggled over this card before this cutie pie chicken saved my bacon.  I just love Bugaboo images and when I came upon this one it gave me the idea to do the basic weave as a background.  (You can find my tutorial on this here.)  I had to do it twice cause I made the strips too wide on the first attempt and I didn't ink the edges either which really made a difference.  After I finished it I had to snicker cause it made me think of the eggshell art kids do in grade school.
So all of you who don't tremble at the thought of crafting with white are invited to come join in the challenge and show us your awesome white creations.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Bloggers Challenge--add texture
Clearly Inspired--things with wings
Digi Doodle--things with wings
Make It Monday--anything goes
That Craft Place--things with wings

Have a fabbie weekend.  I'm scheduled to redeem the pedicure gift certificate my bestie gave me for my birthday.  It will be my first time to have my toesies pampered.  Sounds like heaven to me.  :-)

Tracy your card is absolutly wonderful. I love the egg shell background and the red accents. And chicken soup is yummy! However, to be eligible as a winner, Digi Haven requires "free" digi images to be used. If there is a link for the Bugaboo chicken soup image, which I love their image too. Please provide. But again, great card and thanks for linking up this week.
