I'm a Trendsetter!

(If you missed my Mo's Digital Pencil DT card for today please scroll down to the previous post)

First things first.  Just in case you missed the little headline I had posted at the top of my blog yesterday, a HUGE thank you to all of you who sent up prayers.  You don't know how much you blessed me with all the sweet comments and emails that you left me.  It was so heart warming to know that I had so many people praying for us.
We did get tons of rain and some pretty rough wind gusts, but our house seemed to keep falling between the really bad bands of weather.  We were lucky enough to not lose power until late last night.  A tree must have fallen on the line somewhere close but our power crews were out hard at work and it didn't stay out very long.  That said, there are a lot of people down here who didn't fall in that less intense weather area so please keep us here in Mississippi and those in Louisiana in your prayers.  Lots of flooding and water problems.  It's not over yet.  I just heard the first rumble of thunder.  You would think a hurricane would be filled with thunder and lightening but it isn't.  Just tons of heavy wind blown rain.  So with more rain coming down sounds like I might have some crafty time.  :-)
Several of you caught the tease I've alluded to in a few of my posts about some big new I had to share with you at the end of the month.  Well, here it is

I am so excited to announce that I have been asked to join the uber talented Trendsetters on the design team for There She Goes Clear Stamps!
There She Goes Clear Stamps
WOOHOO!  If you're not familiar with these stamps just pop over to the TSG store to see the stamps and zip over the the TSG blog to see the amazing inspirational cards created with them from my new team mates.  I am just in total awe of working with these talented ladies, and not just them.  Check out the designers!  Torico, Melyssa Connolly, and Di Carubia to name a few.
A huge thanks to Jessie Rone, DT Coordinator for asking me to join the team and another huge thanks to TSG owner Jessica Knutson for allowing me to be a part of her team.
I was excited to find that one of my teamies, Candace Pierce, only lives an hour away from me.  She and I did some emailing yesterday morning but I haven't heard from her again.  She lives closer to the Louisiana border than I do and I think she got some of the rougher weather, so please keep her family in your prayers.
I'm really excited about this new adventure.  A lot of the CAS cards (which you guys keep telling me aren't CAS LOL) you've been seeing here were kind of a practice run for me to get used to  working with these stamps.  Don't worry.  I CANNOT give up all my frou frou's and odd ball techniques you see on my cards.  LOL  I doubt Jessie wants me to totally change my style so you'll just have to wait and see (just like me) what style develops for my TSG cards.  I can't wait to share my TSG projects with you!  The stamp images and witty sentiments are just fabulous!  I'll have two cards to share with you next week, so be on the lookout.  :-)
Hugs!
