Autumn magic

      It's dies and/or punches this week at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge.  I chose to work with Mo's adorable "Fall Fairy Jesen".  Isn't he sweet.  :-)  I dug around in my scrap box for the papers so there's quite a mix on this card.  I really need to hit that box more often.  It's ridiculous.  LOL
     So, obviously there are lots of layers on this one.  I had picked up the Cuttlebug leaf dies on clearance at Michael's a while back hoping they weren't going to just collect dust in my craft stash.  I don't have to feel guilty now cause they were absolutely perfect for this card.  I used a paper piercer to add some veins but they were just too plain in kraft so I inked them a bit but they still weren't quite where I wanted them.  Then I remembered another clearance buy I'd gotten at Hobby Lobby.  It's a Crumple Paper Edge stamp from Stampendous that looks exactly like the speckling you find on falling autumn leaves.  Here's a close up.

     For Jesen's leaf wings I decided to do some stipling and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
