I totally
I used a Memory Box "Delicate Fern" die to cut out the image and then did lots of layering. Using negative space is a fun and different way to make a card so I hope you'll hop over to Catered Crop and play along.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Tracy, you are so sweet! Thanks for the shout out. I LOVE your take on the card. I love that your negative image has black behind it. LOVE the sentiment you chose! Simply gorgeous.

Gorgeous elegance, my friend! Have a fabulous weekend! :o)
Oh, BTW lots more snow has fallen in my world!
Your black & white creation is so beautiful, Tracy! You and of course the sweet and talented Beate (she is originally German just like me) are always such a great inspiration! It's somehow fitting because my dad was calling today to tell me the bad news that our neighbour lost her battle against cancer - I am so sad :o(
Hugs, Anja

Such a striking elegant card. Love the layers and the piercing. It's funny that you say Beate is one of your card-making heroes because she's also one of mine and so are you. I get such inspiration and learn so much from both of you.

Who would have thought that one piece of a fern could look so incredibly striking on a card! What you've done here is fantastic and has eased my OCD's need to fill voided space by using it to my advantage. I love this!
