Some exciting news!

Ya'll (Yes, that is a word, I promise.  LOL) know that I love the Art Impression Girlfriends stamps.  Well, the very sweet Kate Swanson who is the Blog Coordinator for AI asked me to come on board as a Guest Designer for AI Stamps.  How cool is that!  So you'll be seeing more Girlfriends and some of the other awesome stamps from Art Impressions here on my blog.  LOVE working with these great stamps!
The card I've posted today uses the special edition Obediah Fund stamp.  You can find out all about the Fund right here on the AI Stamps website.  This stamp is only available for a limited time through May 20th so you'd better grab it if you want it.
I tried making my own cloudy sky, but just couldn't get it to work out to my liking.  That just gave me an excuse to go to Hobby Lobby and browse their DP section.  I found this totally cool and perfectly realistic sky scene that I thought really made the stamped image come to life.  I kept the card front pretty CAS cause I thought it would spoil the effect to have some random embellishments floating around in the sky with the girls.  I stamped the balloon twice and popped it up on foam dots and then popped the whole image up on dots too.  Really gives the effect of them floating IRL.
I rarely make easel cards, but I thought the design lent itself to the simple design of the card front.

I made the pull out CAS too with some fun red and white striped paper, a Spellbinder tag die with a Create with TLC sentiment anchored with thin ribbon, and some twine tied buttons.  Pretty simple, but I just feel like these stamps need to be the main focal point of the cards.  Hope you like it and the other projects I'll be making and posting for Art Impression Stamps.
     Have and amazing Wednesday!

Supplies:  Paper--The Paper Studio, Bazzill, Georgia Pacific, Copic XPress-it Blending card; Stamps--Art Impressions "Up and Away", sentiment from Create with TLC; Ink--Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, Sakura gold and silver gel pens; Tools--Martha Stewart Cherish punch around the page set, Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio die; Miscellaneous--Offray ribbon, Kraft Outlet Hang Tag String, buttons from my stash

Tracy, this card really pops. I was just wondering how you did the sky so perfectly when I came across your answer. And that stamp is gorgeous.
