Have you checked out all the fun going on over at The Outlawz? Awesome prizes, fun games, and lots of challenges. I've managed to squeak in time to play all the games, but was afraid I wasn't going to find a few spare minutes to join in any of the challenges. I made time this morning so I could play the Copic challenge, my favorite at TO (imagine that! LOL) The challenge was to create a fall card with a special fold. I've told you before that I am totally in awe of the Norwegian cardmakers our there. I just love their style. One of my favorites is Marianne Skjelstad. She makes the most gorgeous cards, but rarely gives directions for all her uniques shapes and styles. sigh...... That means if I'm going to try to case something of hers I have to try to figure all the measurements, etc. out on my own. Case in point, this card. Here's Marianne's card.
I've used an image from A Day For Daisies called "Fall Fun". I think this was a freebie last year. I'm pretty biased when it comes to ADFD stamps and I don't mean just because I'm on the DT. I LOVE Tammy's whimisical images.
Obvioudly this is an easel card. I don't make these very often. I'm quite a creature of habbit with my 5.5 squares, but the image is elongated and I wanted to go a little different direction, so the special fold challenge fit the bill. Hope you like the card and I also hope you get the chance to hop over to The Outlawz and play along with all the fun before it ends tomorrow.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
