It's Turkey Time!

Well tomorrow is Turkey Day!  Actually tomorrow is about so much more than turkey.  It's about being thankful for all the things that God has blessed us with--family, friends, health.  Every breath we take is a blessing from God.  :-)
Jan decided this week would be our "Anything Goes" challenge so I hope you can find some time inbetween eating all those yummy Thanksgiving goodies to do some card crafting and join in the fun at Papercraft Star!
This little turkey was a free digi from Karen's Doodles and I just thought he was so cute I had to use him for a card that was going to post the day before Thanksgiving.  He's colored with Distress inks and I've used my 7 Gypsies Venice paper pad again.  Love those papers!  The inside sentiment was created using a cool frame from the Frames and Cartouches (028) digital sheet from our sponsor, The House Across the Bay.
Our inlinkz will stay open until 6:00 a.m. EST on Monday so link up!
Hope your holiday is filled with thankfulness and wonderful times with family and friends!
     Be blessed!

Hi Tracy: I don't know how I missed this, unless I am going to come to it in my mail. Black is my most fav color (to dress and everything else - ha what does THAT say) and how you have done this card is so inventive. I have not seen black twine so that is a starter point for me. The curls top is really awesome. The scroll on the inside frame is just so cool Tracy and your message beautiful. I am so intrigued and think it is really beautiful how important, and how much you celebrate it's importance (Thanksgiving) in the U.S. It really speaks about you as a Country. Divine Love, Samara

Hey Trac - I missed both the 3 grey at the bottom (love) and I did see, but don't want to be remiss about mentioning THAT fantabulous brown paper you used. The grey strip down the sides is cool with the grey at the bottom. Nice outlining. Moi.

Hehehe that turkey is so cute! Everything you make is always executed to perfection! There is a challenge this week at Sugar Creek Hollow using Fancy Folds...I'm sure you have something up your sleeve you could share with them. I hope Tennessee was good to you for Thanksgiving!
Kindest regards,
Jennifer
