Hummingbird time

Happy Friday yall!  This is "Hummingbird" and he's one of the new releases this week from A Day For Daisies.  Lots of pretty little birdies again this week so make sure you check them out.  :-)  Our "Shades of Blue" challenge is still running over at the ADFD blog and we'd love to have you join in.
I went to kraft paper and my Prismas for this card.  It's really really hard to try to capture all those gorgeous colors in hummingbird wings and I just couldn't get it even close with my Copics.  The Prismas are better, but the photo colors are a bit off from the actual card.  His little belly and the rose are deeper reds IRL.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Paper Creations Ink--things with wings
The Crazy Challenge--go green
Crafty Emma--coloring on kraft
The Outlawz Twisted Thursdays--spring colors
Sweet Stampin'--use lots of green

Hope you have something fun planned for the weekend.  We'll probably be drying out some more after the storms.
     Be blessed!

Supplies
  • Paper:  My Mind's Eye, Bazzill, Kraft Outlet Lunch Bag Kraft, Brown Kraft, and Light Kraft

So, so pretty, Tracy! Really love your design. The papers are fabulous. Love the border on the left with the swirl and flower. And what a fantastic coloring job on that hummingbird. I love the soft glow you created around the body.

Another fab card Tracy! Your colouring is great. I think it would be hard to get the amazing colours of a hummer with any medium, but you have done a super job.
Have a great day!

Love your hummingbirdie, Tracy! You've colored the little darling beautifully. Love the white outline as well. Was that also with your Prismas? Great job, GF.

btw.......my daughter went thru her spinal fusion surgery well. PTL Her blood count is low so they may have to do a transfusion but we're praying they won't need to & hoping she can come home tomorrow.

Have a wonderful weekend. We're supposed to get rain starting tomorrow (in so. Calif.). Where in the country are you?

Huggies ~ Sharron♥

I like this card a lot - you make coloring with Prisma pencils look so easy. I never think to use my colored pencils - I should try them out but for you this worked so beautifully! Hugs
