Just a Note

WOOHOO!  It's Saturday!  LOL  Hope you've all got something fun planned for today.  I'll probably play a little with some cards, but I've got some cupboards that are begging to be cleaned out.  sigh.......  Duty calls.  :-)
The image on this card is from A Day For Daisies which I'm sure you could tell from the distinctive drawing style Tammy has.  It's called "Bonnet Mail" and is part of the March Kit Club.  I've colored her with Copics and did a little experimenting with adding folds into her clothing.  I think I need some more practice but I was pretty happy with how it came out and didn't feel the need to trash it and start over.  LOL  I used a MS Cosmo punch because I thought it matched the flowers in the DP perfectly.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Frosted Designs Fabulous Fridays--kraft paper
Jellypark Friends Friday Challenge--National Craft month challenge (love to use punched flowers and stitching on my cards)
Cooking it up with Katie--embossing, stitching, use a punch
Top Tip Tuesday--stitching/real or faux
Make It Monday--anything goes
Pile It On--spots or stripes

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Wow Tracy another fabulous creation. This is a darling image and goes with the sentiment so beautifully.

And yes, there's hope, 4 years is nothing! My Mum must have despaired of me ever getting married, but we got there eventually.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog Tracy, re the geneaology , I do like it, but only when its to do with my past,I get so exhited finding out about the past relatives. Tim did my tree and got back so far he was even able to contact other people who decended from the same line as me but in a totally different direction, people whom I knew nothing about, those people had photo's of my great x6 times grandparents ( who where also theirs too) its amazing. Tim is back to 1500's with his line.
We searched through some really old doccuments on Friday, sadly didnt find what we were looking for this time.Thats great re your hubby and his ancestors.

I love that I have to scroll down for a mile to leave you a message..LOL. That should tell you how wonderful your cards are! You really 'got 'er done' on this one! This little bonnet mail girl is just adorable. The folds in her dress look exceptional. Love that red stitching too.
I'm envious of your cabinet cleaning however. I only got to spend the day outside in the sunshine. Blah! :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank you SO much for sharing your keen talent with us at MIM.
Hugs,

This is so pretty! Once again...you make it look too good...too easy. When I looked closely at her dress, I thought, duh, Geri...those soft little folds didn't come in the stamp! (or the digi, I should say!) It's really beautiful!!
