Nativity scene

     Today I'm sharing one of Art Impressions adorable Circlet Mini Tryfold sets called Nativity.  There are so many different ways you can use these sets.  I've used Art Impressions Hexagon Double Stitched dies to create three panels that I added the individual scenes to.

     Using a brad, I attached them to the front of the card.  Just swing each one to the side to view the next scene.

     Coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  I added some die cut stars to the card front and covered them in shimmer pen.

     Feeling a bit better but I have no voice.  LOL

Born to hunt

     This is such a common sight here where I live.  We have a good bit of national forest around our place and hunting is the favorite past time for all the local rednecks.  LOL

     I attempted to do a little camouflage coloring on their clothing with my Prismas.  The stamps are from Art Impressions Ole Buck Set.

Christmas birds

     Today I'm sharing my last card make from the new Christmas clear stamp sets from Art Impressions.  I still have plenty of other new sets to showcase, but they aren't Christmas stamps.

     I think this is my favorite of all the holiday cards I've shared.  I really had fun making this one.  I've used the Snow Friend Set.

     I inked the tag in different places to create the sky background.  I die cut the branch from white cards stock and used a grey Copic to color the bottom part leaving the top white for snow.  There's also some Stickles on there.

     Then I went to work with the stamp set.  All the images are in the set.  I did a lot of fussy cutting.  The birds and the bow on the birdhouse are popped up on foam.  The holly berried were covered in Glossy Accents.  Before I added the birds I did some splattering with some watered down white acrylic paint.

     Haven't seen one of these little critters around my yard in quite a while but I can have sweet Buttercup anytime in stamp form from Purple Onion Designs.  I did a little watercolor wash for a background and added some leaves and a flower colored with Copics.

Birds and roses

     Am I the only one who keeps saying that I'm not going to buy any more crafting supplies until I use up what I have?  LOL  I hope not.  I also hope I'm not the only one who does it anyway.  hee hee

     I'm a HUGE admirer of Kitty Caracciolo's work for Impression Obsession dies.  Flower die work is one of my favorite things to do.  I got away from it because I was trying to keep my cards flatter, but it's so much fun.  When IO recently had a great sale I just had to grab several of their flower/foliage die sets.  

     For this card I used the Spiral Flower set to accents the sweet Star and Sky birds from Purple Onion Designs.  The lattice background was made with a Spellbinders die and the sentiment was die cut four times, colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and coated in Glossy Accents.

Mom the crazy gardening lady

     Today is my mom's birthday and when I saw this crazy gardening lady I knew I had to use her for her birthday card this year.  My mom LOVES to be out in her yard puttering.  She has a big old magnolia in the front yard so I just had to create one on the card for her.  She's also a bird fanatic.  LOL

     The gardening queen comes from Art Impressions Gotta Garden Set.  

     I used my Prismacolor pencils to color her and the birds.  The sky was inked with Distress inks and I pulled out LOTS of dies to create the scene.

Hoppy day

     Hope what this froggy says is just what you are doing.  He's Freckles from Purple Onion Designs.  I've given Freckles a stenciled background using Twisted Citron Distress ink.  Both he and the Foliage were colored with Prismas.  I fussy cut the frog, glued his feet to the card base and popped the rest of his body up with foam tape.

     If you love Purple Onion Designs stamps as much as I do then you will be thrilled to know that there is a new release coming on June 1st.  WOOHOO!  It's called Happy Trails and you're gonna love it!

Pretty pears

      My sweet friend, Kim Lackenbach, a LONG time bloggie friend, asked me if I would like to join in the 50th challenge celebration for Inspired By All the Little Things.  Of course I said yes.  LOL  Here's the lovely inspiration photo for the celebration challenge.

     The pears grabbed my eye and I knew just what stamp set I was going to use.  Unfortunately, it is no longer available, although thankfully Marcella Hawley is still designing beautiful stamp sets for her own company, Power Poppy.

     I colored the image and frame with my Copics and added sparkle to the frame with a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.

Oliver on the town

     Little Oliver is out on the town tonight.  This dapper fellow as well as the photo frame and sentiment are all from Purple Onion Designs.  I've got a pretty busy background going on that I'm not entirely in love with, but.....

     I used a stencil and Distress ink to create the stars and then splattered with black acrylic paint.  There are a few sequins mixed in too.

     For the photo frame I added part of a cityscape die cut and then colored in the sky and ground.

Beanie Whoot Owl

     I've discovered that I rather stink at making shaker cards.  LOL  I get too much shaker material or don't put enough foam so that stuff moves.  Then I end up trying to fix it and foam tape is NOT a forgiving adhesive.  Somehow this little Art Impressions Beanie Whoot managed to become a shaker card.  I added some Diamond Dust Twinklets and he is colored with Prismas.

Sitting Bears

     Well, my poor old puter  refused to work right this morning so it's at the puter doctor.  It's getting pretty old so I'll probably be buying a new one soon.  Maybe  I can find a good Christmas deal.  Anyway, I'm doing this post on my Kindle which is a little difficult so if anything looks funny that's why.

     I told you I would be sharing some more Art Impressions creations with you.  These are the Sitting Polars.  I stamped them and colored them with Prismacolor pencils.  Then they were fussy cut.  The background was created  with Distress inks and then splattered with white acrylic paint.  Super fun to do and you'll be seeing that sky on others cards.

Meadow

     Here's another card showcasing the brand new stamp collection, Snowflake Grove, from Stacey Yacula at Purple Onion Designs.

     Once again I've masked to create a card using Meadow the deer and the Large Fence from the new collection.  There is a stamp in one of Stacey's other collection of snow covered trees but I don't have it yet.  I did a little improvising by using the regular Tree Line stamp and creating some snow with Liquid Applique.  I also used it on the fence posts.

Sofia feels under the weather

     Happy Friday!  It's time for another Bellarific creation.  Last weeks challenge was the create your own background.  Now I think I went in a bit of a different direction than everyone else.  I'm kinda crazy that way.  lol  Em says I created a room and she's right.  I added some pretty wall paper and a nice big window.  Maybe watching those sweet birdies will make Sofia the Sicky feel better.  She's the Stamp of the Month for September so you can get her for 20% off.

     To create the window I used the negative from a Pretty Pink Posh die and backed it with acetate.  The tree branches, leaves and birds were made using Memory Box dies.
