Look to the future

     Hello friends!  Today is a bittersweet one for me.  It's my last post for Mo's Digital Pencil.  I made the hard decision to resign from the team due to the busy life that has become my norm.  I've designed with Mo's brilliant images for four years and it's been an absolute joy.

     A huge THANK YOU to Mo for having me on her team and to the AMAZING Pat Frank.  You are the best my dear friend.

     For my final post I have chosen Stars.  I like to look at it as Bella and Bronte looking toward the future full of bright prospects.

     I used a Versamark pen to cover the stars with clear embossing powder.  The pen is pretty wide and left my stars very round and blobby instead of starry.  Not too happy with that.  Lesson learned.  The sky was inked with Distress inks.

Avril in the rain

     This little sweetie could definitely live in my neighborhood with the amount of rain we've been getting this spring.  She's Avril from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I've given her some wet grass to play in with her cute umbrella.  I covered the raindrops with Glossy Accents.

Pretty blooms

      Everything here has turned green so quickly that I feel as though I'm living in a jungle.  All the stores are filled with spring plants waiting to go home with someone.  I just had to use another of Mo's wonderful flower images.  It's called Flower Jar and I colored it with Prismas.

Roses in vase

     Mo recently added a couple of very pretty and elegant flower images in the store and I just had to play with this one.  It's called Roses in Vase.  I did them in Copics.  Gasp!  LOL  I had done this before I got into my Prisma phase.  I got to use my brand new Mini Misti to stamp the sentiment.  Being able to re-stamp images like this large sentiment to get a solid stamp is awesome.

Space Walk

     Wow!  It's February already.  Not too long ago Mo added a ton of new images to the store and among them was this cutie with a space theme.  Space Walk is a pair of little astronauts floating around in the Milky Way.

     For this card I used the same technique I used for the night skies on several of my Christmas cards, Distress inks and splatters of white acrylic paint.
