     It's Bellarific Friday on Saturday!  hee hee  Since we had the Blog Hop yesterday with Cardmaker Magazine, we bumped our Friday posting to Saturday.

     Last weeks theme was Christmas in July.  I pulled out my Christmas Soldiers set by Christine Grove and colored up these party animals. It's kind of hard to tell in the photo but I raised the top and bottom DP panels up on foam so the image is recessed between.

Spoiled

     It's been a LONG time since I've made a frou frou card, but just look at that face.  Could I do anything but?   The image is Mo Manning's Spoiled which you can find in Mo's store and now.....in RUBBER! from Stamping Bella.  She's part of the big new release from SB that we're sneaky peeking this week.

     I broke out LOTS of dies for her.  The flower petals were accented with Distress ink.  I colored the foliage with Copics and the butterflies were layered on vellum and then given a dab of paint for their bodies.

Do you want to build a snowman?

     I don't think these guys would have too much trouble finding lots of snow to build their snowman with in the northeast US lately.  These cuties are the new Fairy Christmas set from Mo's Digital Pencil.  The set includes the three fairies and two sentiments.  Keep your eyes peeled for a Black Friday Freebie that can go with these guys.

     Our theme this week at Mo's Digital Pencil is "Snow" or "Snowflakes"  and the team has used the new images to inspire you.

     I started out making this an A2 card but thought it needed to be a bit bigger so I layered the smaller card face on top of another base.  Got some more new goodies from Simon Says Stamp in the mail so I had to play with them.  The two snowflakes and the banner are new die treasures as well as the stitched rectangles.  I created the smaller snowflakes with the scraps (I know there is a specific name for these but it escapes me) from a MS corner punch.  They and the large flakes were embossed with silver embossing powder.  My fairies have Wink of Stella wings.

Napping Fairy

     Hello all!  Hope you've been having a great week.  Today starts a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil.  This one was chosen by my DT Sistah Anja and she wants to see something new on your cards.
     For my card I've used one of Mo's newest images, "Fairy Sleepy" and several new Memory Box and Poppystamps dies I just bought.  I went back and forth forever trying to decide whether to purchase the Fabulous Phlox flower dies and now that I have them I could kick myself for not having gotten them sooner.  Aren't they gorgeous!  I used a brand new Heidi Swapp ink pad in Mustard too.
